Sun continues to be the story of the day…

The sun was supposed to rise today…and maybe it did. Problem is it was so cloudy that no one could tell. Even the Environment Canada website is inconclusive. It’s just as well. It will be better to be able to see the sun for the first time tomorrow – which is a day off from work.

Lorie made amazing progress on the kitchen today; it is pretty much functional now. When I came home from work I spent some time hanging artwork. The lower half of the house is now in an almost presentable state. A few hours in the morning should cinch it. As for the upper half of the house, well, that could take some time!

Getting the house in a presentable state is important to us since we have invited a few of our friends over to the house tomorrow night after the sunrise festival. Not that I really care that much mind you, but I suppose presentable is good.
