This entry is a bit late because we had no internet connection for most of last night.

My last day of work is complete; I’m free now for 13 days. It’s going to be a little boring for me since I’m used to working right up to Christmas. There will be a few things to do though. I have joined Lorie and I up in the local cross country ski club. It will be a great opportunity to get some exercise and see the countryside…well see the countryside when it gets light out, at least.

Also, I plan to set out a trap line tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll get some rabbits. Mmmm…I can taste the stew already! I also plan to dry and tan the furs since they will be nice white fluffy Arctic Hare furs. Hopefully I can find someone locally to make mitts out of them for me. The local college (Aurora College) sometimes has courses on how to make mitts and mukluks. If I have the opportunity, I’ll do one of those courses. I think Lorie is interested in this too.
