Date: November 14, 2005 - Kilometers Traveled: 760 Weather: Cool and Windy

Back to traveling again. We left Lorie’s place at 7AM and set to it. We stopped in Borden to take a few pictures of the bridge. Amazing piece of engineering, that!! We breezed through New Brunswick…It just sort of melted by actually. we stopped at Hartland to drive the longest wooden covered bridge in the world. We stopped long enough to take a few pictures and then drove on.

We crossed into Quebec about 2:30 local time, and drove as far as Riviere du Loup, where we got a hotel room for the night. We ate at St. Hubert’s (a chicken place) I have to say that we were surprised about how well we were treated, not knowing French and all! I took the opportunity to buy some beer at a gas station. Amazingly they sell singles there! Imagine being able to buy beer like cokes in any corner store! Cool! Of course, I bought one…but it was a slightly larger bottle than I am used to…See the picture attached.

Both Lorie and Ripley are traveling well and Lorie made it a point to call several people and tell them that I was the one that had to stop for a bathroom break first. Damn Tim Horton’s coffee!!
